Probably! Traditional meditation is often taught in ways that don't work well for ADHD brains. These meditations are designed specifically with ADHD in mind. You don't have to clear your mind, sit perfectly still, or "do it right." The goal isn't perfection—it's building a practice that actually works for you.
-
Absolutely. No experience is necessary. I'll guide you through every meditation step-by-step, so beginners are welcome.
-
That's okay! Many people with ADHD think they're "bad at meditation" because their minds wander or their bodies want to move.
In this group, that's expected—not a problem. Meditation isn't about having a perfectly quiet mind. It's about noticing when your attention wanders and gently bringing it back.
-
Each Zoom session lasts about 30 minutes.
We'll begin with a brief check-in, followed by a guided ADHD-friendly meditation (about 10–15 minutes). Afterward, there will be time for questions, reflections, or sharing your experience if you'd like.
Sharing is always optional.
-
No. You're welcome to simply show up, meditate, and listen.
Some people enjoy asking questions or sharing what they noticed. Others prefer to stay quiet. Both are completely okay.
-
That depends on what you're looking for.
Once a week is a great way to build a meditation habit without feeling overwhelmed.
Twice a week gives you more consistency, accountability, and opportunities to practice—something many adults with ADHD find especially helpful.
-
The content will be similar, so choose the schedule that works best for you—or join both if you'd like extra support and practice.
-
No. This is a meditation group, not psychotherapy or group therapy.
While meditation can support emotional well-being, this group focuses on guided meditation practice and learning mindfulness skills rather than providing mental health treatment.
-
No big deal. The meditations will be recorded and they are yours to keep forever.
-
Many adults with ADHD find it's easier to stick with a practice when someone else is guiding it and others are showing up too.
The group provides structure, accountability, and a sense of community that can make meditation feel much more doable.
-
Yes! ADHD brains often focus better when they're allowed to move. You don't have to sit perfectly still to benefit from meditation. Feel free to stretch, change positions, use a fidget, or keep your camera off. The goal is to work with your ADHD brain, not against it.
